The Sweeny Independent School District serves the City of Sweeny and the surrounding area. The school district operates three schools: the Sweeny High School, the Sweeny Junior High School, and the Sweeny Elementary School.
Sweeny ISD is a Class 4A school (Division 2, Region 4, District 15). The school’s mascot is the “Bulldog.”
